Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

June 21 st has finally arrived and Summer is finally here. For many of you, this is the long awaited recreational season when the family will go to the beach and the kids will go swimming, when relatives will gather to bar-b-que, when the men will go fishing and come back with fantastic stories, etc... While these are all great moments of leisure, joy and peace, may we never forget who created these opportunities for us... the Lord Jesus.

June, 2001 has been a month of blessings. An anonymous donor has contritubed sufficient funds to close our Annual Fund-Raising Campaign. The goal of $1,500.00 was surpassed by nearly $200.00 more. Thank you Jesus for providing the needs of the Catholic Doors Ministry.

Over and above this, the Holy Spirit has moved a Catholic soul to translate some of the material of the Catholic Doors Ministry in the Bahasa language of Indonesia to enrich the spiritual life of the Catholics in that country and to use as an evangelizing tool to convert non-Catholics.

Also, Monsignor Robert Aucoin who is well known for his regular column called "Catholic Resources on the Web" has written a beautiful editorial regarding the services of the Catholic Doors Ministry. This editorial is appearing in a number of US Diocesan Newspapers.

May I take this opportunity to ask you all to continue to unite your prayers with mine so the Lord Jesus may continue to shine His loving and healing grace upon the many who email their prayer intentions to the Catholic Doors Ministry. It is touching to hear that many prayers are being answered, all for the glory of the Heavenly Father.

Enjoy your Summer! Remember Jesus in your daily life, especially your need to receive the Sacraments on a regular basis.
