"And now faith, hope, and love abive, these three; and the greatest of these is love." [1 Corinthians 13:13]
- Do I love God as God loves me?
- Or is my love selfish "human love?"
- Do I understand the meaning of the word "love"?
- Does love shine above faith and hope in me?
- Do I realize that love glorifies both, faith and hope?
- Do I realize that love sanctifies Christian grace?
- Do I realize that love if the very moving impulse of the Gospel?
- Do I realize that love is the one quality that is Divine? "Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love." [1 John 4:8]
- Can love be the greatest because it does not cease in the life to come as the rest do?
- Through sanctification, can it be said that love is perfected and accomplished?
- Does love embrace mercy and forgiveness?
- Did Jesus show mercy towards the sinners?
- Did Jesus forgive the sinners? (Who were sincerely repentant?)
- In the love of God, should we not show mercy and forgiveness, even to those who deserve it the least? (Murderers, abortionists, paedophiles, prisoners, etc...?)
- Do I truly know God? For God is love.
