Prayer to obtain a special grace from the Lord
through the intercession of
the Venerable Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis.
“And I tell you, ask and you will receive;
seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives;
and the one who seeks, finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Lk 11:9-10)
O God, come to my assistance.
Lord, make haste to help me.

Let us pray:
Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
we give you thanks for all the gifts
and graces with which you have enriched the soul
of your Venerable servants Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis,
true fathers of the youth.
Through their intercession,
defend the youth from all spiritual and physical dangers.
Console and comfort the families
and grant us the grace which we fervently ask
(you may express here the grace you are asking for),
if it is according to your holy will
and for the good of our souls.

Petitions:
- Grant us the wisdom of the cross
so that we may not search for human glory
but we may entrust ourselves to your fatherly love
and overcome any resistance in accepting the mystery of your will.

all our human weaknesses and sufferings:
help us to rediscover the gift of faith
and to trust the Divine Providence
according to the example of the
Venerable Brothers Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis.

- Continue to call the youth
to follow your beloved Son on the way of charity:
nourish their desire to search for you
by spending their life for the formation
of the heart and mind of children and youth.

- As you have enlightened the Venerable Brothers
Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis in their mission
of building the Church through the formation of communities
that were to become “houses and schools of charity”,
we ask you to help us
to follow their example and your holy inspirations.

- Through the intercession of the Venerable Brothers
Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis,
grant us the graces of spiritual and physical health,
prosperity and constant protection against every evil,
for our good and for your glory.

May the most just, the most high,
the most lovable will of God be done,
be praised and exalted in all things forever.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, you have aroused in the Church
the Venerable Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis,
who dedicated themselves,
through their Christian example and their paternal teaching,
to lead the youth along the way of salvation.
We pray to you today to gift your Church
with the joy to soon see them enumerated among your saints,
and also to give us the grace to imitate them
for getting our own sanctification
through the service of our brothers and sisters.
In particular, we beg you to grant us,
through their intercession,
the grace we are now asking you with faith.
We pray to you for this intention in the name of Jesus,
your beloved Son,
and through the mediation of Mary,
our beloved Mother!

Fr. Anthony and Fr. Mark Cavanis
support parents and educators in the sublime work
of the formation of the heart and mind
of children and youth.

Fill with your Holy Spirit those who are called,
so that trusting in your Word,
they may be faithful workers in your vineyard.
Make us appreciate the gift of the vocation
to religious and priestly life
and help us to cooperate generously through our prayer and sacrifice.
