Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
Christ, hear us.

Let us pray.

God, Thou Source of all good and all consolation,
have mercy on us and our children!
Grant that, after the example of St.Aloysius,
we may detest sin more than aught else in the world,
and rather endure every evil
than deviate from the way of Thy Commandments
and Thy good pleasure.
May we daily understand more clearly
that no one who turns from Thee
and is disobedient to Thy Will
enjoys interior peace of heart!
May we ever taste more and more
the joys that spring from a devout and virtuous life,
and which surpass all understanding.
Be Thou alone our Joy, our Hope, our Refuge,
the Object of all our desires and longing here on earth,
as Thou wilt be eternally our Portion,
our Possession, our Riches, our Plenitude,
in which both mind and heart
will be unalterably fixed and satiated.
O infinitely good, loving, merciful Father in heaven,
grant us what we ask through the merits and intercession of St Aloysius!

Amen.

Prayer of St Aloysius to the Blessed Mother

O holy Mary, my mistress,
Into Thy blessed trust and special keeping,
into the bosom of Thy tender Mercy, this day,
Every day of my life and at the hour of my death,
I commend my soul and body; to Thee I entrust all
my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries,
my life and the end of my life,
that through Thy most Holy intercession and Thy merits,
All my actions may be ordered and disposed
according to Thy will
and that of thy Divine Son.

Amen.
