PRAYER FOR THE TUESDAY
IN THE FIRST WEEK OF LENT.

Look down upon Thy household, O Lord,
and grant that our souls,
chastened by the mortification of the flesh,
may glow in Thy sight with the desire for Thee.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son,
Who livest and reignest with Thee
in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God
world without end.

Amen.
