CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

The February, 2019 Monthly Newsletter
(Issue # 211)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

During the past year, the Church has heard horrific accusations against fallen members of the clergy. Consequently, during the past week, there was a Vatican meeting of about 200 Bishops from every corner of the world. Its title was the “Protection of Minors in the Church." The main focus was to explain to the Bishops their juridical and pastoral duties and responsibilities with regard to protecting children.

In summary, it can be said that "sins abound where the focus is no longer on Jesus." The gate of hell has been opened and released on the clergy of the Catholic Church. Endless demons have been ravaging the Church for the past half century, the spirit of impurity, the spirit of pride, the spirit of wealth, the spirit of fame, the spirit of arrogance, the spirit of homosexuality, the spirit of sodomy, the spirit of abortion, the spirit of prostitution, the spirit of drunkenness, etc...

Jesus warned us, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” [Mt. 26:41] St. Paul experienced the weakness of the flesh when he said, "I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." [Rom. 7:15] Yes, the flesh is weak. And it is harder on the clergy because the number of demons trying to destroy each and everyone of them is a hundredfold.

The clergy needs your prayers. Your pastor needs your prayers. Every Catholic should be committed to spiritually adopting a priest and praying for him on a daily basis. That extra prayer may be all he needs to overcome the dreadful temptation that can destroy him, ending his life as a man of God who ministers to the sheep.

Those bad priests may once have been healthy branches of the tree of life that fed on the Body of Christ. Those branches must be salvaged if there is still hope in the mercy of God for them. Jesus does not wish that any soul be eternally lost. He died on the Cross for all those who turn to Him in time of despair. Let us not judge those fallen souls for we have not walked in their shoes.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ shine upon you in the days ahead so you will find the strength to persist in your faith. Jesus loves you! Jesus is with you!

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Jonn Miller,
Webmaster.
