Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
This months I have a lot of news for all of you. Some months, it is incredible how many things get done versus the previous month. I don't expect anyone to become familiar with the entire content of my website within a few weeks. It took me 20 years to compile all the information that is found at https://www.catholicdoors.com.
This month, there is a good variety of topics that follow. I am sure you will find one or more areas of interest to you. Enjoy it, share it with others, and if you want a copy of what you are reading, print one for yourself.
I came across an interesting saying this month. It said, "My calling is to inform you, not to convince you." That perfectly reflects my work of evangelizing. I bring to your attention the teachings of the Catholic Church. You are free to accept them or reject them. I am not the author of the teachings; they originate from the Vatican.
Some people write to me and criticize the teachings of the Catholic Church. I cannot change them. Therefore, I direct them to the Vatican for answers to their concerns.
Before I forget, the Summer months have arrived. Many of you will be taking holidays, that means possibly travelling within your homeland or oversea. A holiday does not free anyone from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass. If you need a dispensation, talk to your Parish priest. Otherwise, failure to attend Holy Mass will be a mortal sin that will prevent you from receiving Holy Communion when you return from your travelling, until such time as you have received the Sacrament of Confession. I wish you all a great Summer holiday. May the Immaculate Heart of Mary protect you. May St. Christopher guide you during your travelling. May St. Michael the Archangel protect you against the temptations of all kinds. And may Jesus always be with you.
In the love of Jesus and Mary,
Jonn Miller,
Webmaster.

I have updated the Patron Saints webpage. At least another 200 entries were posted, either of new Saints or new categories of needs. You can view the webpage HERE.
Fund-Raising.
For years, Catholic Doors Ministry has been raising funds to support its charitable projects such as sending donations to the Diocese of Kannur (mission) in India, the free distribution of thousands of Holy Cards to Catholic organizations across Canada, the promotion of Knights of Columbus pamphlets on the Rosary, Confession, etc..., the distribution of over 6,000 Children's Illustrated Bibles to the children at local schools, and the list goes on. One project alone cost over $25,000.00. Thanks to the Lord's ongoing Divine Providence, these spiritual needs were met without creating any financial difficulty. The Lord Jesus has always been there for this volunteer ministry.
During the past two years, our main source of revenue from Google Adsense as decreased by 75% due to its ongoing policy changes that required endless work on our part to change the codes on our 10,000+ webpages in order to be able to remain in their program. It has gotten to the point where one questions, "Is it worth the effort to remain with Google Adsense?" Or should the ministry seek out a different source of revenue?
During the past month, I have been investigating the potential of making revenue through the merchants associated with Commission Junction. I have set up a webpage HERE of 16 merchants who are willing to donate a percentage of their sales that originate from Catholic Doors Ministry.
The advantage of using this service is that I will be able to control who displays their banners on my website. With Google Adsense, you could "only" control the categories. That meant to have Catholic advertisers, you had to accept every Protestant advertisers out there. Consequently, I could not get any Catholic advertisers on my website. It has always been an ongoing struggle to block undesirable websites from displaying their banners on my website.
If the affiliates of Commission Junction are financially fruitful, I hope to gradually replace some or all of the Google Adsense banners with this new service.
Thank you for your reading time. I pray that this month's new additions to the website will help you in your spiritual growth.
