CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

The November, 2017 Monthly Newsletter
(Issue # 196)

Dear members of the family of Christ,

Once more, I am happy to be able to update you all regarding the evangelizing work of Catholic Doors Ministry. The ministry continues to support and promote the Diocese of Kannur in India that is in an ongoing need of financial support for all of its missionary work. Mass Stipends are always welcomed to help the priests in their good works. Let us never forget that with the decrease in the number of priests in the Americas, the priests of countries such as India will be our future ministers of the Sacraments in the process of re-evangelizing. As such, we need to support them and their seminarians - it is a wise investment in our future.

If you have any prayer intentions for Father George in India, please send them on the following Form. He will be more than happy to pray for your personal needs during the celebration of his daily Mass.

During the month of November, Catholic Doors Ministry expanded its evangelizing through the promoting of new Novenas, a few common Latin prayer, upcoming homilies, the new Liturgical Ordo, over and above the ongoing maintenance of the website, answering emails (that sometime require research), recording Guest Book entries, etc... There is no shortage of work when you are serving the Lord Jesus.

May I take this opportunity to thank those who reported typos on the website. The involvement of the visitors is always welcomed to ensure that the website is of a high standard.

Regarding the homilies for the month of December, they are all done and have been uploaded unto the website at http://www.catholicdoors.com/homilies/index.htm

On the subject of Novenas, during the past month, I added 10 new Novenas on the website. They are the:

Novena For The Nativity Of Mary,
Novena To Saint Therese de Lisieux # 2,
Novena To Saint Therese de Lisieux # 6,
Novena To Saint Michael, The Archangel # 2,
Novena To Christ The King # 2,
Novena To Saint Anthony Of Padua # 9,
Novena To The Immaculate Conception # 6,
Novena To The Holy Ghost # 2,
Novena To The Holy Face of Jesus # 2, and
All Souls' Novena # 2.

Also, by the end of the month, there will be links to 50 New Novenas that are on another website. These could not be uploaded on my website because of copyright laws.

You may view all the Novenas at: TreasureofNovenas.com

Having come across some common Latin Prayers such as the Lord's Prayer, the Hail Mary, etc..., I decided to upload them on the website. Therefore, you may now enjoy 9 new prayers. I also revised 5 of the Latin prayers that were incomplete. The index of the 53 Latin Prayers is located at http://catholicdoors.com/prayers/latin/index.htm

With the end of November came the end of the Liturgical Calendar. It was therefore necessary to update the webpage where the Ordo of different countries is listed. Such has been done. You may view the new Order for the 2017-2018 Liturgical Calendar at http://catholicdoors.com/liturgy/index.htm

And that my friends brings a closing to this month's Newsletter. May I take this opportunity to wish a very Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, and many more in the years to come. (Because you are going to live to be very old.) May this be a Season of joy and peace, a wonderful time for families to gather as a symbol of the Christian love that Christ has transmitted to us. And if you see a needy person in the days to come, reach out and do whatever you can. Jesus will remember what you have done.

"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." [Mt. 25:40] "Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me." [Mt. 25:45]

May the grace of God shine upon you and your loved ones,

Jonn Miller,
Webmaster.
