Dear children of God,
A week ago, out of total of just over 3 million voters, 1,149,390 voted in favour of same-sex marriage while 684,616 said no. How many of those 1,149,390 voters were Catholic? Considering that 84.2 % of Ireland is Catholic, we can then conclude that 968,039 of the voters in favour of same-sex marriage were Catholic.
By voting in favour of same-sex marriage, these Catholics were voting in support of their children marrying someone of the same gender as theirs. Their daughters may now marry women; their sons may now marry men!
This week's vote promotes a sinful life that not only attacked the teachings of the Catholic Church, but it also rejected God's commandments since the dawn of the day of creation. The people has spoken; a non-productive (re: procreation) life of sin has been chosen. Pleasure, pleasure, sexual pleasure, is what the people want.
Have humans forgotten that there are many ways of being guilty of one's sin? If you counsel someone to commit a crime, you are just as guilty as the person who has committed the crime. If you vote in favour of a way of life that opposes God's teachings, you are guilty of having challenged God to the face. By consenting to have same-sex marriage, you are defying God. By praising the new law of same-sex marriage, you are defying God. By remaining silent to the matter, refusing to get involved in the voting process, you are guilty of defying God.
How can such a person receive the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist after having voted in favour of or supported the process of same-sex marriage? Having committed a very grave sin that shook the heavenly Throne, such action calls upon the wrath of God upon mankind.
Ireland may mock God today; tomorrow, it will be a different story.
Let us pray that the eyes of sinners may be opened to the Light of God.
