Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Once more, Easter is upon us as a reminder of the infinite love and mercy of God that was manifested through the glorious resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the suffering and death of Christ, the door to our salvation has been opened. Oh what a magnificient God we have!
During the past month, I have answered a number of questions under "Frequently Asked Questions." Most of these were related to the liturgy, a field of great interest to many Catholics. The questions that I have addressed are those that are more commonly asked by those who write to Catholic websites in search of the teachings of the Catholic Church. Hopefully some of these subject will be of great interest to you.
Catholic Doors Ministry continues to support a mission in India, the Diocese of Kannur. Since November, 2010, I have been promoting to need for funds for the construction of an Old Folks Home. If you have not heard of this project, click on the banner on the main webpage at http:/www.catholicdoors.com Considering that the website enjoyed over 1 million visitors during the past 5 months, not one donation has been received for this special need. When asked by the Bishop of Kannur if I had received anything on his behalf, since nothing had been forwarded to him, I was left speechless. All I could say is, "I did not receive anything."
With the approach of Easter, maybe some of you can donate a small amount for this worthy cause. Donations can be made by credit cards through Paypal. Please consider giving a small amount - anything is better than nothing!
I wish you all a joyful Easter with your family, relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers. Easter is a time to set aside our differences, a time to get together and to rejoice.
May God bless you all.
In the love of Christ,
Jonn,
