Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Throughout the centuries, the Catholic Church has dedicated each month of the year to a certain devotion. By tradition, August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This Marian Feast is usually venerated alongside the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. As the Feast of the Sacred Heart represents Christ's love for mankind, the Feast of the Immaculate Heart represents the Blessed Virgin's desire to lead all people to Christ.

The Catholic Doors Ministry has a rich collection of devotions to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Chaplets, Consecrations, Litanies, Novenas, and prayers. Those wishing to reflect on the Immaculate Heart of Mary during August, they may wish to say a different devotion every day of the month. This can be followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary.

May such devotions bring you closer to Jesus, through Mother Mary.
