CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

December, 2008 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 104)

Dear members of the Body of Christ,

Tomorrow, a New Year shall be born. Its doors will open with the celebration of the glorious Feast of Mary, the Mother of God. Placing a Feast of Mary on the first day of the Annual Calendar is very meaningful. It calls us to reflect on the many qualities of the Virgin Mary. She was humble as we should be humble. She accepted her calling as we should accept our calling in the Catholic Church. She was faithful to the end as we should be faithful. She submitted herself to the Divine Will as we should submit ourselves to the Divine Will. And the list goes on.

Mary, the Mother of God, never made any attempt to take over the Church after the glorious Resurrection of the Lord Jesus. She served as the smallest. And as Jesus said, "Unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven." [Mt. 18:3-4; Mk. 9:33-37; Lk. 17:1-2]

Starting a New Year is a great opportunity to start a new chapter in one's life. It is an opportunity to embrace spiritual virtues that sanctify the soul and draws it closer to the Lord God.

May year 2009 be a new beginning for you and your loved ones who seek spiritual enlightenment, knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

In the love of the two Sacred Hearts,

Jonn,
webmaster.
