August, 2008 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 100)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

With the closing of August comes the end of the Summer holidays for many and the return to schools and Universities. I pray that you all had a joyful summer during which you found time to relax, enjoying the beauty of nature to its fullest. When we get close to nature and take the time to see its endless beauties, we come to the realization that there is no limit to the skill of the Lord God Who creates such beautiful things for our enjoyment. While we can only enjoy a small part of God's created beauties, depending on where we live, this is but a reflection of God's entire creation throughout the world. Those who travel to different countries, they are privileged. They can see a greater part of God's creations. The more one sees, the more one becomes overwhelmed, gaining a greater understanding of God's creativity.

During the past month, I have expanded on the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website. I wrote one particular article, the "21 Sins against the Sacrament of Marriage." When I started this work, I thought there would be 6 or 8 sins, this article not taking too long to write. To my amazement, the list grew to 21 sins, taking an entire day to author. I hope you enjoy this article. I have no doubt that it can be beneficial to those who teach "Marriage Preparation" courses. Feel free to use it.

During September, I will start a section on the website to promote a new Diocese in India. This Diocese was formed about 10 years ago by Pope John-Paul II. I was recently approached by a priest in that country who asked for Mass Stipend to support their very poor Diocese. Like Mother Teresa, this dedicated priest works among the poorest of the poor. He has been made in charge of raising money for his Diocese that is so poor that it has no seminary, no convent, nothing that the modern world enjoys.

During the next couple weeks, I will provide details as to how you can financially support this Diocese, either directly, or through this online ministry. I am in the process of getting all the details from this Catholic priest. I pray that, in the Most Holy Name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit will move many to provide financial assistance according to the Will of God.

May the Lord Jesus bless you all in the month to come, providing you all with spiritual growth, joy, peace, and love which is the most important of all. Without love, we are nothing; for God is love.

In the love of the two Hearts,

Jonn,
webmaster.

MISCELLANEOUS

THE MEDJUGORJE DECEPTION A lot of Catholics are confused regarding Medjugorje because the proper terms are not being used. While it is claimed that apparitions took place at Medjugorje, in truth, it should be said that it is alleged that apparitions took place since the Catholic Church has never appproved the apparitions.

While it is alleged that "seers" are having visions, these individuals should be referred to as "alleged seers" or "alleged visionaries." None of them have officially been recognised.

Because of improper terminology, Medjugorje has become a deception, it being implied that there are authentic apparitions and that they have been approved by the Church. Such is not the case. The following webpage, in pdf format, places in proper perspective the terminology that should be used when one speaks of Medjugorge:

http://www.catholicdoors.com/isit/medjugorjedeceptions.pdf

Review the webpage and see how you score in your terminology when referring to Medjugorje.

WEBSITES RECRUITING VOCATIONS

I have updated the webpage for those who are seeking to join a religious Order. About half the links were removed because the websites no longer existed, or some used the link to sell merchandise, and others no longer had a Vocation Director webpage. This defeated the purpose of the webpage and made it frustrating for those who were interested in the religious life. The upbdate is found at:
