Dear friends in Jesus,
With the arrival of the month of December, we are now entering a new Liturgical Calendar. The new Liturgical Year opens with the Season of Advent, a time to prepare ourselves for the Christmas celebration.
Christmas is a universal time to gather, be it at the Church, in the home with the family, with friends or with co-workers. In this wide variety of gatherings, we are reminded that Christmas represents the day when the fullness of God was pleased to dwell in the Lord Jesus. The prophecy of the promised Messiah was fulfilled. The Lord came to make His dwelling among His people.
Christmas is a time to exchange wishes and gifts, such being done from the heart. The value of the gift is not important; it is the intend of the giver that is important. One gives to show his/her loving gratitude towards family members and friends. When giving to someone during this Christmas Season, ask yourself, "Am I giving from the heart?" If so, then your act of love will have pleased the Lord Jesus.
To the 1,700,00+ visitors of the Catholic Doors Ministry during 1997, I wish you all a joyful Christmas in the Spirit of Jesus. May this Christmas be the most blessed of all your Christmas.
To all those who want to wish a Merry Christmas to their Catholics brothers and sisters and to their non-Catholic friends who visit the Catholic Doors Ministry website, you may do so through the Guest Book. Please feel free to express your warmest wishes in the Spirit of love.
In the love of the two hearts,
Jonn,
webmaster.
