August, 2007 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 88)

Dear members of the Body of Christ,

How many Marian Feasts does the Catholic Church celebrate during the calendar year? Is it 20, 40, 60? How about 100, 200 or 300? Would you believe that it is at least around 400, if not more? And it is quite a job to compile all those Feasts. I know, because I have compiled whatever I could find during August, 2007. Below, you will find a link to the webpage where you can review all the Marian Feasts that I have accumulated.

In many countries, with the closing of the month of August comes the end of the children's Summer Holidays. In some communities, the children are already registering in school for the new school year. For many, it shall be the return to the same school and a reunion with old friends. For others, it will be attending a new school and having to make new friends. Many parents are also experiencing changes. Some had taken the Summer off, either to take care of their children or to enjoy holidays. Now they must return to work. All these changes are difficult for many. How wonderful it would be if the daily routine never changed.

In our lives, there is one thing that never changes. Jesus, our Friend, is never changing. He is always there for us. He is always the same, as He was in the past, He remains in the present and He shall be in the future. Jesus is our ongoing stability, if we give ourselves to Him, if we allow Him to take control of our lives. Jesus is our comfort, the true comfort zone where one never has to worry. In Jesus, we find continuity, security and stability, all of the three basic worldly needs of every human being.

During the coming month, focus your eyes on Jesus. Your focus on the Lord shall facilitate your adjustment to whatever changes may be taking place in your life. And may the Lord Jesus always be with you, now and forever.

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Jonn,
webmaster.

MARIAN FEASTS

Up to the middle of August, the catholic Doors Ministry website provided about 150 Marian Feasts (Titles) on one of its webpages. This number of Feasts has now been increased to over 400. 99% of the days during the Calendar Year enjoy at least one Marian Feast. Some enjoy more. You may view all those Feasts by visiting the following webpage:

VIDEOS

During August, links to 69 Catholic videos were added to the website so visitors can watch those videos on Catholic Doors Ministry webpages. 19 videos had to be replaced when EWTN decided to remove its videos from youtube.com. Consequently, none of the links to youtube.com worked. At present, 129 Catholic videos can be viewed at the Catholic Doors Ministry website. You may view them by visiting the following link:
