Dear members of the Body of Christ,
In a few hours, the month of June shall come to a close. The Summer Holidays shall be in full swing, this Season changing the lifestyle of many for the next two months. For some the Summer months means holidays, going to the Lake or camping, more time outdoors in the sun, travelling, etc... While all of these worldly interests can be fun and relaxing, it does not mean that they are a substitute to spiritual growth. These are all God given gifts that mandate an ongoing spiritual communion with Jesus on a daily basis. Without Jesus, we are nothing. Jesus is our Lord, our Protector, Our Model and our strength.
As of today, the Catholic Doors Ministry has 1,621 English spiritual devotions, over and above those in French and Latin. During June, a new category of spiritual prayers was started. You will now find 27 different Prefaces from the Eucharistic Prayer of the Holy Mass. Prefaces are an excellent form of prayers because they always glorify the Lord. You are encouraged to review a few of them. When read slowly and meditated upon, they greatly enrich one's life.
Let us remain united in our prayers for the grace of God to always shine on us so our worldly and spiritual needs are met according to the Divine Will.
In the loves of Jesus and Mary,
Jonn,
webmaster.
