Dear members of the universal Body of Christ,
April, 2005 is a month that shall go down in history. Our beloved Pope John-Paul II departed from this world to be with the Lord Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the saints and all the angels. Within days, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Church Princes elevated Cardinal Ratzinger as our new pontiff, Pope Benedict XVI.
Let us join our daily prayers, asking the Lord Jesus to provide our new Pope will all the strength he shall need to lead the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church in the truth. For there are many who would like to see the Church of Christ adapt to the sins of the times. The cannot and never will support doctrinal errors such as abortion, same-sex marriage, etc... For God is unchanging in His ways.
The Catholic Doors Ministry now enjoys over 1,500 prayers on its website. Everyday, from 12,000 to 15,000 prayers are downloaded from all the English categories, the prayers, the Novenas, the Chaplets, the prayers of the Saints, etc... And that number continues to grow as the number of prayers grows on the website.
For decades, the month of May has been recognized as the month of Mary. Mary parishes and Dioceses implement special Marian devotions during this month. And many Catholics take up their Rosaries and pray it every evening, often as a family. May all our prayers to the Lord Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary raise the level of our spiritual growth so we may all become more Christlike. May the grace of the Heavenly Father be with all of you during the month of Mary. In the hearts of Jesus and Mary,
Jonn,
webmaster.
