Dear members,
HOMILIES
Tomorrow, November 30, 2003, opens the door to the Advent Season with the celebration of the First Sunday of Advent. During this special time of the year, we are called to prepare ourselves for the coming of Jesus in our lives through any of the following way, whichever may come first:
(1) Through the celebration of Christmas.
(2) Through the Real Presence of Jesus in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.
(3) Through the final coming of the Lord as our Judge, either at death or at the end of the world, whichever may come first.
Let us walk towards the coming of Christ in our lives with the assurance of our blessed hope. Through righteousness, we shall inherit the promises of loving Heavenly Father.
This month, we have finally reached the 900 mark for the number of English prayers on the Catholic Doors Ministry website. Most of the additions are Marian prayers which I am sure many of you shall love to review.
This being my last newsletter of the year, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year and many more to come. In French, we wish the three "S." They stand for "Santé" (Health); "Succès" (Success) et "Sainteté" (Sanctity). These three meet all our needs with ease. May the angels of the Lord watch over all of you during this Christmas Season.
In the love of Jesus and Mary,
Fr. Maurice Levesque
