October, 2003 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 42)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

October 30 th, and today, we have experienced our first snow storm of the year in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The temperature tonight is dropping to -15 Celcius. The cold weather and the snow are reminders that Winter is here to stay and Christmas approaches. Before we know it, all the stores will be over-flooding us with advertisement, Christmas trees, lights, music, etc... While all are getting into the spirit of Christmas, all are reminded to prepare themselves for the Sacrament of Confession, this ensuring their righteousness before the Lord Jesus on Christmas Day. In some communities, because of the shortage of priests, it is necessary to plan one's confession weeks in advance.

For those who shop online for their Christmas gifts, please keep us in mind. We have a number of online stores where you can shop. To view them, go to: http://www.catholicdoors.com/promo/shopping.htm If you are interested in certain kind of merchandise, not just for Christmas but for the entire year, email us and let us know what is your need. We will then see if we can find a merchant who carries (at a good price) what you are wanting to purchase.

Through PayPal, the Catholic Doors Ministry now processes online all credit cards for Bible Courses registrations, ($ 7.00 each Canadian), orders of our complete website (at $ 19.95 Cdn) or even for monetary gifts of any amount. To view the process, please click on the "make a donation" button towards the end of the page. http://www.catholicdoors.com/donation.htm Anyone can register for free with PayPal. Payments are made in your currency and converted into Canadian funds. This permits you to see exactly what it would cost you in your currency.

This past month, we finished uploading the blessings prayers that must have numbered nearly one hundred. The Liturgical Calendar (Ordo) for 2003-2004 has been started and should be completed within a few days. A large number of visitors signed our Guest Book this month, keeping us busy with the posting of their entries.

I wish you all a blessed November, peace in your home and work environment, health for you and all your loved ones, and be assured of my daily intercession on your behalf during my celebration of the Holy Mass. May Jesus always be with you all.

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Maurice Levesque
