Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
With the arrival of July, we are now re-entering Ordinary Time in the Liturgical Calendar. The Summer months are a time when the Church celebrates few major Feasts, this permitting the faithful to place more emphasis on their living faith within their family and social environments. This does not mean that one can neglect the Church and the Sacraments. For personal spiritual growth is an ongoing matter... until our last breath.
During the month of June, the Catholic Doors Ministry continued to add new Chaplets, Litanies and Novenas to the website. See below for more details.
The "Catholic Children's Education Program," a very promising program, is a new addition to the website. It is an Awards system to encourage children to learn their Catholic prayers. For each prayer that is learned, the child receives an Award. The Awards are already designed and only need to be printed. All the particulars are found on the webpage that is listed below. Please take the time to review this webpage and the Awards. Then, if you have children, consider using the program. Pass on the information to your family, your friends, your local school, etc... In these days where many children no longer know their prayers and some countries no longer permit prayers in the school system, the responsibility falls on the parents to raise their children in the faith. The "Catholic Children's Education Program" is an excellent tool that is designed to encourage the children to want to learn their prayers in order to receive as many Awards as possible. Those who use the program, please feel free to give us some feedback and any suggestions you may have to expand the program.
Finally, the Catholic Doors Ministry can now accept donations through credit cards. More information is provided below. Donations can be made in any currency, be it American, Canadian or British funds.
May your Summer holidays be full of blessings and continue to enrich your spiritual life in Christ.
In the love of Jesus and Mary,
Fr. Maurice Levesque

During the past month, it came to our attention that the Catechism of the Catholic Church on our website did not contain the modifications made on September 8, 1997 by Pope John-Paul II. Therefore, our web designer took 3 days and updated the Catechism to include the 100+ changes that were made in 1997. You may view the Catechism of the Catholic Church at:

Some of you may have noticed that changes are taking place on our Links webpage. During the past few weeks, the outdated links have been removed, new categories have been created, and new links have been added to this webpage. This has been a slow process because new links must be found and then it has to be determined if these new links will be "fly by night" webpages or if they have been around for quite sometime, providing us some assurance that they will remain around for at least a few months.
LITANIES
The maintenance of webpages with links is one of the most consuming tasks because websites disappear so quickly, some webpages are renamed, services are down, etc... all this requiring follow-up on a regular basis.
You may view what has been completed up to date at:

Three new Litanies were added to the website during June, 2003. You may view any of the 45 Litanies at:
