March, 2003 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 35)

Dear friends in Jesus,

This past month, the world has been in turmoil. The war in Iraq has divided the people in many nations, some for it, some against it. His Holiness Pope John-Paul II has done all he could to avoid this horrible war that appears to be turning into a religious war, the Christian community against the Moslems. The Vicar of Christ has called upon all Catholics to pray for peace, to make sacrifices, and to support the position of the Catholic Church; peace, nor war. For there is a great fear for the Christians who are minorities in Islamic nations.

With the approach of Easter that commemorates the glorious Ressurection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are called by God and the Church to experience a change of heart and to receive the Sacrament of Confession in preparation for the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist on Easter Sunday. The Lenten Season is a time to individually assess our spiritual lives and to renew our commitment to live our faith in Christ. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide each and everyone of you in your spiritual growth according to your individual needs.

During March, there have been a few additions to the website. As webmaster of a website, not only is it desirable to expand, but there is also a need to maintain and update the present webpages. Our Guest Book, the list of R.C. Martyrs and many other webpages require ongoing maintenance. This month, special attention has been given to the wepage of the Rosary as will be explained below. Also, the webpage that lists all the Papal documents is being updated according to its needs.

This past month, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of accesses to our 700 English spiritual devotions, the Chaplets, the Litanies, the Novenas and the Prayers. According to our daily logs, some days, there was over 50,000 accesses in this specific category by our visitors. Praise God for drawing so many to moments of spiritual devotions, especially in these sad days of suffering, fear, division, and death upon many.

You all remain in my daily prayers, asking the Lord Jesus, through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to watch over each and everyone of you.

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Maurice Levesque

PAPAL DOCUMENTS

There was an urgent need to start reviewing over 500 links on the Papal Documents webpage because most of the links went to an educational institution that has removed all the documents from their website. During that past two years, the Vatican has now added many of these documents on their website. Therefore, whenever possible the link are directed to the Vatican. When this is not possible, the links are directed to another website that has been stable in providing Papal Documents, many of these still not available on the Vatican website. The links to the documents of the following Popes have been completed: Pope John-Paul II, Pope Paul VI, Pope John XXIII, Pope Pius XII, Pope Pius XI, Pope Benedict XV, Pope Pius X and Pope Leo XIII. There remains about 35% of the links to review and change according to their needs. You may vieww the list of Papal Documents at:
