CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

March, 2002 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 23)
Dear friends of the Catholic Doors Ministry,

First of all, I would like to explain why this newsletter has been released a little early. It is to provide me with the opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a Happy and Joyful Easter and many more to come. Easter Sunday is the greatest of all Feasts in the Catholic Liturgical Calendar. Highlighting the glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus, it is a reminder that through Christ, our blessed hope shall be achieved one day, eternal life in the Divine Presence of God in His Kingdom of unimagineable bliss. During my celebration of the Holy Mass on Easter Sunday, I shall remember all of you who have been touched by the Catholic Doors Ministry, asking the Lord Jesus to continue to shine His abunding grace upon all those that His Spirit has drawn towards our humble ministry so His glory may be manifested in your spiritual growth.

This past month, the growth of the website has been in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the homilies and the addition of the text of French Songs. We now have over 300 French Songs and that project is completed. Most of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is completed. What remains to be done is the introduction, the conclusion, the cross-links and adding the search engine when all is completed. Six of the eight homilies have already been added. The other two will follow in the next two days as they are completed.

The Annual Fund-Raising Campaign has seen a jump in its revenues. I thank the Lord Jesus who continues to provide our needs by touching the hearts of some of our visitors.

In North America, with April comes the warmer weather and preparations for the Summer holidays, travelling, opening up the Summer cottage, etc... While many of you will be planning for the physical needs of your Summer months, do not forget to also plan for your spiritual needs. Some will add a St. Christopher medal in their vehicles, others will place a crucifix or holy picture on the wall of their cottages. And hopefully, many will get into the habit of saying a prayer before going swimming, asking the Lord Jesus to protect them in their moments of enjoyment. There is no shame in adding a little bit of Jesus in our moments of leisure. May Jesus be with us all the time!

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Maurice Levesque
