CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

December, 2000 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 8)
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

In a few hours, the Holy Year 2000 will come to its end. For many, this has been a year of rich blessings, a time of soul searching and a time to reconcile with God and the Church. To assist in this beautiful work of the Holy Catholic Church, the Catholic Doors Ministry has provided a large variety of spiritual material, each being a door in itself to lead the thousands of visitors on their earthly pilgrimage according to their personal responses to the shining grace of God.

Twenty months ago, when the Catholic Doors Ministry officially began its international ministry of evangelization on the Internet, it was never perceived that in one month alone, over 22,500 believers and non-believers would be visiting the website in search of Catholic knowledge and understanding that would fill their spiritual hunger.

For the Catholic Doors Ministry to become a modern day success story, the Lord God had to put three factors in place. First, He had to provide supporters. These are the many who provided endless prayers and financial assistance. Then, the Lord God had to provide the workers. These are the volunteers who compose and edit the spiritual material and finally code it so it can be viewed on the Internet. Finally, the Lord God had to provide the visitors who hungered for spiritual knowledge and understanding. Each one of the above was absolutely necessary for the Spirit of Christ to move smoothly according to the grace of God. Had one of the above factors been absent, the ministry would have been a failure. Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding all the above in perfect harmony for the glory of God the Father through Jesus Christ.

I am pleased to announce that for the first time this month, the Catholic Doors Ministry has enjoyed 1,000 visitors on one day. As the Feast of the Immaculate Conception set in on December 8, 2000, over 500 homilies on the Immaculate Conception were downloaded at the last minute, this increasing the daily statistics by over 30%. Throughout the year, it has been moving to see how the daily statistics have always increased around Marian Feast dates.

As to the first fund-raising campaign of the Catholic Doors Ministry, I wish I could report that it was a success. At present, only 41.3% of next year's budget of $ 1,500.00 (Canadian) has been raised. I pray that other generous contributions will continue to arrive during the next couple weeks, these being stuck somewhere in the mail and having been delayed by the Annual Christmas rush of cards and gifts. If you personally benefit from the Catholic Doors Ministry and have not considered sending a contribution of any size, please consider doing so right now to secure the ministry for year 2001.

Now, I would like to inform you all of what has been accomplished during December, 2000.

During the coming year, I pray that the loving grace of Jesus will be with all of you through the intercession of the Immaculate of Mother who continuously seeks to draw us all towards her beloved Son.

Yours in the love of Jesus and Mary,

Father Maurice Levesque
