CATHOLIC DOORS MINISTRY
presents

October, 2000 Monthly Newsletters
(Issue # 6)
Dear children of the Lord Jesus,

I am going to keep this short since the Newsletter is long enough and most of the details are provided under each title. I thank you all for continuing to visit the Catholic Doors Ministry on a regular basis, your presence leading to a new monthly record of visitors.

November will see the beginning of the Catholic Doors Ministry's first public appeal for contributions during its Fund-Raising Campaign. This is to ensure the continuation of its valuable work during the next fiscal year that begins early in 2001. (More information below.)

You all continue to be in my daily prayers during the celebration of the Holy Mass and during my Rosary prayers. If some of you have not noticed under the "Praying Partners" sub-title of the index, the number of those seeking prayers has increased tremendously. Unfortunately, the number of those volunteering 5 minutes per day to pray for those "in need" is not a good reflection of many shining lights in the world. I ask you, if you can set 5 minutes a day to pray for others, please sign up for this program and from time to time, check the list of those "in need" of prayers so you will know for who you are praying. Always remember that the prayers you do in secret, God the Father knows! He does not forget the unselfishness of those who pray for others, such being accredited to their eternal reward.

I pray that November will bring you all the joy and peace that you seek in the love of Jesus. May His infinite grace always be with you!

In the love of Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Maurice Levesque

AWARD
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/awards/index2.htm)

On October 19, 2000, the Catholic Doors Ministry was presented with the "Bring Flowers Of The Fairest" Award of Excellence in awe for all what the ministry has accomplished online, and for the wonderful online resource the website has become.

Thank you for the surprise Award.

CHURCH APPROVED APPARITION
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/isit/approved.htm)

A webpage was created to list some of the Catholic Church approved apparitions of Jesus and Mary around the world. While this list is far from complete, it ensures that whatever is listed, has been approved by the Catholic Church. Also, some of the places on the list are suitable for pilgrimages.

FUND-RAISING
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/donation.htm)

November will see the beginning of our first Fund-Raising Campaign. During the upcoming year, the Catholic Doors Ministry will need $1,500.00 (Canadian) to continue its ministry that is benefitting many visitors. At the present rate of exchange, this amounts to $1,075. US.

These funds will go towards renewing the Domain Name registration, paying for Internet Services, the cost of provider space to "park" the 2,500+ files that visitors are accessing on the Internet. It will be necessary to increase the present maximum of 50 MB of space available since this will be outgrown within a year. And then, there is the cost of printer paper and ink, computer upgrading and repairs.

With the approach of Christmas, the Day when God incarnated in the world through His only Begotten Son Jesus so Christ could be the perfect sacrifice for our salvation, this is a time to ask ourselves, "What are we giving in return to the world so we can shine as a light?" This ministry is reaching over 100 countries, even some where the Catholic faith cannot be openly professed. Priests from all over the world are benefitting from the homilies, some of them from poor countries that can barely afford their own food. Many visitors come to the site during the wee hours of the night to find prayers so they may draw closer to the Lord Jesus. And according to our daily logs, among those who seek prayers are many University students who frequently stop at the webpage, the "Act of Contrition." Many out there are having a difficult time and through this ministry, the grace of God has touched their lives.

Please take the time to send a donation. Nothing is too small when so much can be accomplished with so little. May the Spirit of Christ be with you in the next few weeks as you decide what you can afford to send.

A page will be set up early in November to inform the visitors as to the status of the Fund-Raising Campaign. A link will be placed on the "Main Page" for easy access.

HOLY BIBLE
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/bible/mark.htm)

In the English Version of the Latin Vulgate Holy Bible that is found on the Catholic Doors Ministry website, the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark were coded in red. This is the second Gospel that has now been done. In time, all the Gospels will be coded this way.

HOMILIES
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/homilies/index.htm)

Seven November homilies were written and uploaded on the website during the month of October. They consist of the following:

00/11/01 - All Saints' Day "Remembering the known and unknown saints."
00/11/02 - All Souls' Day "Remembering the departed souls."
00/11/05 - 31 st Sunday of Ordinary Time "In communion with God."
00/11/12 - 32 nd Sunday of Ordinary Time "Blessed are those who persevere."
00/11/19 - 33 rd Sunday of Ordinary Time "All will happen in this generation."
00/11/21 - Presentation of Mary "In the service of the Lord."
00/11/26 - Christ The King "His dominion is an everlasting one."

IS IT CATHOLIC?

By popular demand, the webpage "Is It Catholic?" was created. With all the false teachings that are found in books and on the Internet, some writers claiming the "Second Coming of Christ as a new born child," or "Christ coming to reign for a 1,000 years (which the Catholic Church calls the Antichrist deception)," or "false prophecies that have never come to pass," and that "All religions are equal," etc... it had become necessary to identify these doctrinal errors to point out the sound Catholic Church position on these subjects. In many cases, the position of the local bishops or the Congregation for the Doctrine of the faith has been made public but the visitors were unaware of it, or did not know where to find accurate information. This page serves the purpose of solving that problem so the faithful can become fully aware of what they are getting involved with, if it is Catholic or not. I pray that once they learn it is NOT Catholic, they will abandon such teachings and move on to sound Catholic teachings that will benefit their spiritual growth in Christ.

JAVA APPLET PUZZLE (16 PIECES)

The website now has 2 Java Applet Puzzle of 16 pieces each. These are easier to complete than the 25 piece puzzle. There is one of St. Theresa and another one of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

LITURGICAL CALENDAR
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/liturgy/2000-11.htm)

The November, 2000 Liturgical Calendar has been completed and uploaded on the website.

PRAYERS
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/prayers/index.htm)

During October, 2000, seven new English prayers were added to the website. There now is 262 different English prayers. To find out which prayers have been added, please see the page "What's New." (http://www.catholicdoors.com/whatsnew.htm)

SILENT VOICE
(http://www.catholicdoors.com/voice/index.htm)

As hundreds of our visitors are aware, the Catholic Doors Ministry is the official and only website that has the private revelations of Jesus and Mary to the silent voice. These private revelations have been on the website since its beginning in May, 1999. Those who have come across these private revelations, have done so by using a search engine or have been told by someone who perceived them to be rich in spiritual food.

During the past year, many of the visitors have asked why the private revelations were not linked to the "Main Page" or to the "Site Map" of the Catholic Doors Ministy. Until this time, it has been a question of, "If Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary wants the private revelations to be known, they will lead the visitors to them." By waiting, 18 months in total, the fruit of the private revelations will become known. Last month, on one Saturday alone, there were over 200 "hits" on the private revelations webpages. This is quite impressive considering that these private revelations are not highly promoted.

Because of the positive feedback that has been received during the past one and a half year, where many of the visitors were overcome with awe because of the nature of this spiritual work, it was decided on October 7, 2000 to finally put a link in the left column of the "Main Page" under the sub-heading "LINKS."

I pray that many will benefit from these private revelations as I have and as many of the past visitors have expressed through their E-mails.

On October 25, 2000, a "Forum" was added for questions and answers related to the private revelations of Jesus and Mary to the silent voice. The Forum is located at: (http://www.catholicdoors.com/voice/forum.htm)

STATISTICS

During September, the Catholic Doors Ministry did reach its new record of 15,000 visitors during the month. As of October 26, the average daily number of visitors for this month is 536. If this number does not change, a new record at 16,000 visitors should be set for the month of October, 2000. Praise be to the Holy Spirit for guiding to the Catholic Doors Ministry all these souls that hunger for spiritual food.

UPDATED FILES

Over and above what has been mentioned, the maintenance of the website has involved ongoing updates of the "Site Map," "What's New,", the "Guest Book," the "Prayer Needs," and the "Statistics." As can be appreciated, all these little things take up additional time, over and above the ongoing answering of incoming E-mail.
