Q. 1. What can you tell me about the heresy of "Psilanthropism?"
A. 1. The heresy of "Psilanthropism" is the belief that Jesus was human, literally the son of human parents. This belief that Jesus is "just human" means he never became divine, nor did he exist prior to his incarnation as a man.
"Psilanthropism" was rejected by different ecumenical Councils, especially in the First Council of Nicaea. That particular Counsil was convened specifically to deal with the nature of Christ's divinity.
