A. 1. It is not appropriate for someone to drink water from a bottle in the Catholic Church during Adoration, or during Holy Mass. One should step outside the sanctuary to go and drink water.

In a situation where one constantly has a dry mouth due to a medical condition (such as the side effect of a medication), the individual can carry a "Mouth Moisturizer" and use it when needed (as few times as possible) in order not to distract the faithful who are in prayer.
