A. 1. The Baptismal Bowl is a substitute for Churches that do not have a Baptismal Font. It is considered as a piece of Church furniture to administer the Sacrament of Baptism.

Some Baptismal Bowls are used as baptism basins and replacement for baptismal fonts. These are available in brass, bronze, stainless steel and with or without gold plating or silverplating.

A benefit of being able to buy a Baptismal Bowl is that you do not have to replace an entire Baptismal Font when you must replace a corroded basin in an old wooden Baptism Font.
