regarding the
ASPERGUILLUM.

Asperguillum

Q. 1. What is the purpose of the "asperguillum?"

A. 1. The "asperguillum", also known as an aspergillum, aspergilium or aspergil, is a liturgical instrument that is used to sprinkle holy water. It comes in two common forms: a brush that is dipped in the water and shaken, and a silver ball on a stick.

On the average, they are about 12 inches, chrome or nickel plated, many of them being made in Poland.
