Q. 1. When is the Baptism Certificate issued? As a parent, do I get it when my child is baptised?

A. 1. After the ceremony of the Sacrament of Baptism, the parent is presented with a Baptism Certificate. On it you will find the name of the parents and the two Godparents, one male and one female.

If the child ever needs a copy of the Baptism Certificate later, perhaps for school registration or for marriage, the parent can contact the parish office.
