Q. 1. When a "fake priest" goes to a parish and hears confessions, are they valid?

A. 1. The Code of Canon Law, # 965, states:

"A priest alone is the minister of the sacrament of penance."

Other than the Sacrament of Baptism, which anyone can administer providing he has the intention to do what the Church intends, the Sacraments administered by a fake priest are not valid. The Mass, reconciliation and holy matrimony were all invalid.
