Q. 1. What is the meaning of All Souls' Day?
A. 1. In the Catholic Liturgical Calendar, you will find the celebration of All Soul's Day on November 2 nd. This is the day when Catholic pray for all of those who have died before us who may not yet be saints in heaven with God.
While Catholics hope that all their loved ones are in Heaven, there is no way of knowing this for sure. For that reason, especially on this special day, they pray for those in purgatory, that they may soon be admitted into the Heavenly Kingdom in the permanent presence of God.
