Q. 1. How do Catholics deal with religious violence against them? There is so much of it and it seems to be getting worse.

A. 1. First of all, we must pray for those who are persecuted and for those who are persecuting them, that they may have a change of heart.

Secondly, we cannot sit back and let the persecution go on when our Catholic brothers and sisters are being killed because of their faith. We have an obligation to remove them from the area where they are being persecuted and murdered. At the same time, the enemies of the faith, extremist muslims in most cases, must be tracked down and arrested. Because of their extreme evil, in many cases, society is left with no choice but to kill these extremists in order to bring peace in certain parts of the world.
