Q. 1. I have a question. When setting up the manger scene, does I put Jesus in it or is He removed until Christmas Day to reflect the Season of Advent? Some say to remove Him, while others say to leave Him in the manager.

A. 1. It depends on your preference and/or family tradition. There is no specific Church rule that says you have to remove Jesus from the manger scene or that you can leave Him in it. If you have a young family and would like to emphasize the spirit of Advent, the children would relate better to Jesus being absent from the manger scene. Otherwise, they will be asking, "Why is Jesus in the manger if He is not born yet?"
