Q. 1. How accurate is the present Bible used by the Catholic Church? After centuries of translations, I am sure many of the passages were reworded and no longer reflect the original Bible?
A. 1. It is inaccurate to believe that the Catholic Bible has been "rewritten" a number of times during the last centuries. The modern versions of the Holy Bible were translated directly from the original Hebrew (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament) texts. Therefore, every word in the Bible reflect the original content of the Holy Scriptures.
