Q. 1. I noticed a discrepancy in the name of one of the Apostles of Jesus. Matthew 10 and Mark 3 refer to Thaddeus while Luke 6 refers to Judas. Why is there a name difference in the Gospels?
A. 1. The Apostle had two names, Thaddeus and Judas. Not to be confused with "Judas Iscariot," the traitor, "Judas Thaddeus" went by the name of Thaddeus. After the betrayal of Jesus, the name Judas was no longer popular.
