God, our Father,
we thank You for the gift of love
and the gift of life.
We thank you for the gift of our children.
We ask You to send Your holy angels
to protect and guide them each day
so that they will walk the narrow path of purity,
self-control and obedience,
as was taught to us by Your own Son, Jesus Christ.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
in union with the Holy Spirit.
