O Lord Jesus Christ, 
Who didst grant to blessed Bernardine, Thy Confessor, 
a surpassing love for Thy holy Name; 
we beseech Thee by his merits and intercession, 
graciously pour into our hearts 
the spirit of Thy love. 
Who livest and reignest, 
with God the Father 
in the unity of the Holy Ghost, 
world without end.
