O God, Who dost give us joy 
by the yearly festival of Thy blessed martyr and bishop Clement; 
grant that we who keep his birthday 
may also imitate his fortitude in suffering. 
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, 
Who liveth and reigneth with Thee 
in the unity of the Holy Ghost, one God, 
world without end.
