May this confession of mine, O Lord,
through the merits of Thy blessed
and ever virgin Mother
and of all Thy saints,
be pleasing and acceptable in Thy sight;
and if anything is wanting,
now or at any other time,
in true contrition or sincerity
or the integrity of my confession,
do Thou of Thy kind love and mercy,
supply what is needed
and hold me more fully and perfectly absolved in heaven.
Who lives and reignest,
God, forever and ever.
