Tender loving and sweet Jesus,
Aggressiveness was not Your nature.
While You rarely asserted Yourself,
It was only towards the hypocrites:
In defense of loyal righteousness.
You commanded observance of the Law,
A symbol of Your Fatherly love.
Teach me to employ aggressiveness
In a peaceful manner when needed:
For it is obligatory to speak up
When a wrong has been implemented.
I trust in Your wisdom to guide me!
