What is a perfect parent one may ask? Parents receive no formal training Prior to the nurturing of their children. Therefore, they are not certified as parents. Would you send your child to school If you knew the teacher was not qualified? While standards are highly set for the teacher, There are no minimum standards for parents. They are expected to raise their children; Experience daily trials and errors, And hope that positive will result from it all. Then, is there such a thing as a perfect parent? A perfect parent is an experienced grandparent Who has fostered his or her children; Has assessed the successes and failures, And is willing to change one's nurturing technique If it was necessary to start all over again! This grandparent deserves certification For being the qualified perfect parent.
