When Jesus announced His departure to the disciples, He indicated: "It is expedient for you that I go away: For if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you". [John 16:7] In this statement is found mysteries regarding Jesus. Jesus' departure meant the Holy Spirit would descend, To comfort, to guide, and to teach all the believers. In the Trinity, the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Christ, God having taken physical form for the salvation of man. In those days, those seeking God had to seek out Jesus. Through His departure, Jesus now dwells within everyone, His Holy Spirit being the indwelling spiritual form of God. Prior to Jesus' coming, the world lacked inspirations, Only a few chosen prophets being in contact with God. Now, every soul has the opportunity of hearing God Through the Holy Spirit that speaks in their hearts. That is why it was "expedient" for Jesus to leave: Now the believers have the 'truth' in their hearts! They do not have to be pilgrims to seek Jesus out. Some prophets did not have Jesus in their hearts: Many had to climb mountain summits to talk to God!
